What can I expect in the first session?

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, what you'd like to gain, and whether my approach feels like the right fit for you. There’s no pressure — it's a space for curiosity, not commitment.

How many sessions will I need?

Every journey is different. Some people come for short-term, focused support (6–12 sessions), while others benefit from longer-term therapy. We’ll regularly review your goals and progress together to make sure therapy continues to meet your needs.

What kinds of therapy do you offer?

I offer a range of therapeutic approaches, which I may blend depending on your individual needs. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

What if I’ve never had therapy before?

That’s completely okay — you don’t need to know what to say or do. I’ll guide you gently and at your pace. Therapy is a shared process, and we build it together.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything we discuss is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. The only exceptions are if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. If this ever became relevant, we’d discuss it together.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

Yes - I can offer both. Online sessions are held via a secure platform, and if you are local I am also able to offer in-person sessions. They take place in a quiet, comfortable space. You’re welcome to choose what feels most supportive for you.

What are your fees?

Fees for individual therapy sessions range from £85 to £125, depending on the type of therapy and the length of the session:

  • 50-minute sessions typically start at £85

  • Extended sessions (up to 90 minutes), such as EMDR, are available from £110 to £125
